Our Journey

Narendran and Arunabha, the founders of Tamuku, have extensive experience in the field of social change. They have worked in various organisations and gained expertise in fundraising, partnership building, livelihoods, health, education, and social protection. Through their work, they discovered that many organisations struggled to access funding and partnership opportunities, hindering their ability to fulfil their missions. This inspired them to create Tamuku, a platform that provides curated and easily accessible information about funding and partnerships!

Initially, they provided these as an informal service, but in April 2021, they launched a subscription model and started sending daily funding alerts via WhatsApp. The response was overwhelming, with over 3000 subscribers. Tamuku's impact goes beyond numbers; it has empowered NGOs to embark on missions they once thought were impossible. With more demand from the subscribers, they expanded the services to include E-books and tailor-made solutions, and have helped mobilise INR 25 crores in just one year.

Recently, they have been incubated by NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore's startup incubator, which further elevates their vision. For Narendran, Arunabha, and the entire Tamuku family, their goal is not just to bridge gaps but to create pathways that lead to empowerment, change, and a better future. The journey of Tamuku continues, promising the realisation of many more dreams.
